To enable cookies, choose your browser from the list to the right hand side and follow the instructions. If you are unsure of your browser version please click on "Help" at the top of your browser and "About...". The version number will be displayed.

Windows

Internet Explorer 7

Click Start and select Control Panel (If you use Windows XP Classic View click on Windows Start button and select Settings and Control Panel).
Double-click the Internet Options icon.
Select the Privacy tab.
Ensure that the scroll bar on the left hand side of the window is set to Medium High or lower. If this is not displayed click on the Default button.
Click the Advanced button.
Check the box Override automatic cookie handling under the Cookies section in Advanced Privacy Settings window.
Under First-party Cookies, select Accept.
Under Third-party Cookies, select Accept.
Check the box Always allow session cookies.
Click OK.
Still in the Privacy tab, click on the Sites button.
Enter www.irishtimes.com into the Address of website field, and click Allow.
Click OK.
Click Apply and OK to exit.

Select the Tools option from your browsers menu, then go to Internet Options, which will open a new window.
Choose the Security tab, then click on the Internet web content zone.
Adjust the security level to Medium and click Apply.
Click on Custom Level and scroll down to Cookies and ensure that Allow per-session cookies (not stored) is Enabled.
Click Apply and OK.

Select the View option from your browsers menu
Go to Internet Options, which will open a new window.
Choose the Advanced tab, then scroll down to the section on Security.
Under this area are options for Cookies.
Select "Always accept cookies".
Click Apply and OK.

In the right-hand side of this window select Accept all cookies and Accept all cookies that get sent back to the originating server

Select Tools from the menu bar at the top of the browser and click on Options.
Select the Privacy category.
Expand the Cookies section.
Select Enable cookies or Accept cookies.
Click on the Exceptions button.
Type www.irishtimes.com and click Allow
Click OK and restart FireFox.

Mozilla Firefox 1

Select Tools from the menu bar at the top of the browser and click on Options.
Select the Privacy category.
Expand the Cookies section.
Select Allow sites to set cookies.

Select Edit.
Select Preferences.
Select Privacy and Security", and expand the list.
